Check the home network first
Test the device in the room where you watch. Weak Wi-Fi, a distant router, streaming on several screens, game downloads, and video calls can all affect consistency.
Ethernet can offer a more stable connection for a fixed TV or streaming box. If Ethernet is not practical, test moving the router or device closer before changing account settings.
- Test the signal at the viewing device
- Pause large downloads
- Restart router and device
- Use Ethernet where practical
Refresh the player and device
Restart the player and the device, then check for player and operating-system updates. Remove unused apps if storage is nearly full.
Choose a quality setting that matches the connection. Forcing the highest resolution can make a weak network work harder than necessary.
Give support useful information
If freezing continues, report the device model, player name, connection type, time of issue, and whether it affects one category or all viewing. That lets support investigate without guessing.
Avoid repeatedly changing several settings before you receive guidance. One clear test at a time gives more reliable answers.
