ARMv7 vs ARM64 for Android TV: Which Explore Lounge APK?
Architecture chooses the compatible app build; it does not change a plan or promise playback quality.
Choose the build that matches the device, not the newest-looking label. Fire TV and Fire Stick use ARMv7. Newer Android TV, Google TV, and many modern Android TV boxes use ARM64; older models may use ARMv7.
Use this decision path
- Fire TV or Fire Stick: use ARMv7.
- Newer Android TV or Google TV: start with ARM64.
- Older Android TV or a TV box: identify the architecture from the model documentation before downloading.
What the names mean
ARMv7 and ARM64 identify processor architectures. They are not plan features and do not indicate video quality. The wrong APK can fail to install or open even when the device otherwise looks similar.
If the installer reports incompatibility, stop and confirm the exact model. Do not install several unofficial copies in an attempt to find one that works.
Frequently asked questions
Does ARM64 give better picture quality?
No. It selects a compatible build; it does not change the plan or guarantee playback.
What if I chose the wrong APK?
Remove the incorrect app, choose the correct official build, and install again.
